Candidate Profile

This role reports to the President of AtScale and requires a strategic, market-facing leader who can shape the company’s GTM messaging, branding and industry thought leadership. The right person will elevate the brand, sharpen the narrative, lead major launch moments, strengthen the marketing organization, and position AtScale as a foundational AI and data infrastructure company.

The ideal candidate will bring strong storytelling instincts, executive presence, technical fluency, and operational rigor. They need to engage deeply with product and executive leadership, translate complex ideas into simple and compelling language, and help the market understand why AtScale matters now.

Role / Responsibilities

Define AtScale’s market narrative
Help the market understand AtScale’s role as the bridge between LLMs and enterprise data.

Turn technical concepts into simple, powerful stories
Translate complex ideas such as semantic layers, governed metrics, deterministic versus probabilistic systems, and trusted context for AI into language that resonates with technical buyers, business leaders, partners, and executive audiences.

Anchor the story in business value
Ensure AtScale’s messaging is not only technically credible, but also commercially compelling. Build narratives that clearly show how AtScale helps organizations make better decisions, reduce risk, improve productivity, and drive measurable business value.

Drive vertical and customer-centered storytelling
Partner with sales, product, and customer teams to turn core technical capabilities into industry and use-case stories across financial services, retail, SaaS, and other strategic markets. Help customers and prospects see themselves in the story.

Own strategic launch moments
Lead integrated marketing around major company moments, including partner announcements, product launches, customer proof points, executive thought leadership, and flagship events such as Semantic Layer Summit and key ecosystem conferences.

Strengthen partner and ecosystem marketing
Operate effectively within strategic partnerships and alliances, especially in complex co-marketing environments. Maximize partner moments through narrative development, proof points, joint storytelling, and coordinated market presence.

Build and lead a high-performing organization
Lead and develop an existing marketing team while identifying the capabilities needed for the next phase of growth. Shape the organization across product marketing, content and brand, digital, events, communications, and partner or customer marketing as needed.

Elevate execution across the full marketing motion
Ensure brand, content, product marketing, field support, demand generation, partner marketing, and executive visibility operate as one integrated system aligned to company priorities and revenue goals.

Qualifications

  • Proven success as a CMO or senior marketing executive in enterprise software, data, analytics, cloud, infrastructure, or AI
  • Strong ability to position complex technical products in ways that are clear, differentiated, and relevant to both technical and business audiences
  • Deep experience building company and category narratives during periods of market change or technology transition
  • Strong AI and data storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify highly technical ideas into language that resonates with CEOs, GMs, and senior business leaders
  • Technical fluency and the ability to work closely with product, engineering, and technical founders or executives
  • Experience leading or closely partnering on product marketing, especially in highly technical B2B environments
  • Strong instinct for connecting technical differentiation to real business outcomes, industry pain points, and vertical market value
  • Experience leading brand evolution, executive visibility, integrated campaigns, and major market-facing launches
  • Ability to work effectively with strategic partners and build marketing programs that amplify ecosystem momentum
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and uplevel teams while attracting strong talent for the next phase of growth
