Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and disciplined Vice President of Product to lead our product organization and drive the future of our platform. The ideal candidate has deep experience in artificial intelligence (AI) and business intelligence (BI), thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a proven track record of building and executing complex product roadmaps in close partnership with engineering, the field, and customers.

This role requires a strong balance of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership. The VP of Product will manage a globally distributed team of Product Owners and Product Managers, ensuring alignment across the company, delivering market-leading solutions, and translating customer requirements into actionable product direction.

Working Hours

AtScale is a globally distributed organization headquartered in Boston, MA, with team members across multiple time zones. While we prefer candidates based in the Boston area, we also welcome remote applicants who are able to work East Coast hours.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy & roadmap: With the CTO define the vision, set priorities, and balance customer-driven requirements with key technical initiatives.
• Partner across the business: Work closely with Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to align on goals and deliver products that delight.
• Engage directly with customers: Understand needs, uncover opportunities, and bring feedback into the product lifecycle.
• Lead & inspire a team: Manage and mentor a team of Product Owners and Product Managers, building a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
• Drive execution & delivery: Establish and uphold processes that drive clarity, discipline, and measurable outcomes across every release.

Requirements

• 15+ years of product management experience, including 5–10 years in BI/analytics and 5+ years in AI-driven products.
• Proven success leading product in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Strong track record managing complex roadmaps with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to partner with Engineering on technical initiatives (performance, scalability, security, quality).
• Exceptional communicator with strong executive presence and customer-facing skills.
• Organized, proactive, and adaptable with the ability to thrive in ambiguity.
• Experienced people leader who has managed teams of 7+
