About AtScale

AtScale is the semantic layer for modern data and AI. We help enterprises build governed, AI-ready analytics by connecting business users and AI systems to a single, consistent source of metrics and business logic across cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, Google BigQuery, and others.

Role Overview

As a Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will serve as the senior post-sales technical leader responsible for ensuring our top enterprise customers successfully deploy, migrate, and realize sustained value from the AtScale platform. You will act as the primary technical steward for the long-term success and health of customer deployments, maintaining deep knowledge of customer architectures to ensure production confidence and architectural alignment over time.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibility #1: Technical Ownership & Production Health

Serve as the primary technical contact post-sale, maintaining deep knowledge of customer architectures, data platforms, and semantic models. You will monitor system stability, performance, and scalability, proactively identify risks, and lead technical escalations to resolution.

Responsibility #2: Deployment Oversight & Strategic Guidance

Oversee complex implementations and migrations from legacy systems to AtScale by partnering with Professional Services to ensure deployments follow best practices. You will provide expert advice on semantic layer design, platform strategy, and AI enablement to position AtScale as strategic infrastructure.

Responsibility #3: Adoption, Value & Advocacy

Drive the usage of new capabilities and support renewal efforts through technical insights and executive business reviews. Additionally, you will represent field insights to Product and Engineering teams to influence the roadmap, quality improvements, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Technical Account Management, Solutions Architecture, or customer-facing engineering roles.
  • Strong experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, etc.).
  • Deep knowledge of data architectures and modern analytics stacks.
  • Proven track record leading complex implementations and managing senior stakeholders.

Working Hours

AtScale is a globally distributed organization headquartered in Boston, MA, with team members across multiple time zones. While we prefer candidates based in the Boston area, we also welcome remote applicants who are able to work East Coast hours.

Preference will be given to candidates with

  • Experience managing technical relationships for enterprise accounts in the “Top 20” by revenue or criticality.
  • A background in semantic modeling, query performance tuning, and governance.
  • Experience acting as a critical customer advocate and navigating organizational structures to ensure success.

You’re a Great Fit If You

  • Prefer being an individual contributor and owning technical outcomes directly, such as production confidence and architectural alignment.
  • Thrive in fast-moving environments where priorities evolve quickly.
  • Understand the boundary between technical stewardship and sales; you are comfortable supporting renewals technically without owning the commercial close.
  • Are curious about using AI and automation to improve recruiting efficiency and signal quality.
  • Want to play a critical role in building a company at an inflection point.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation, including equity.
  • Flexible, remote-friendly work environment with a strong culture of ownership and trust.
