What is the Semantic Layer Summit (SLS) and Expo?

The SLS Virtual Summit and Expo is an event that will take place exclusively online. All conference presentations are broadcasted via webcast so you can watch from the comfort of your own office or home. You will have the ability to move from presentation to presentation as you see fit, and all the features of an in-person event will still be available (exhibit halls, networking, downloadable collateral, etc.)

How will attendees access the Virtual Summit once they have registered?

Attendees will receive an email with login instructions a few days before the event. We encourage all attendees to log into the platform before the conference starts to make sure you can login. If you have trouble logging in, please email info@semanticlayersummit.com.

The conference will start at 10 am, April 24th, and we recommend attendees log into the virtual platform before the programming begins.

What are the Summit hours?

10:00 AM – 03:30 PM Eastern on Wednesday, April 24, 2024

What are the technical requirements to be able to participate?

  • Laptop or personal computer 
  • Strong, reliable wifi connection 
  • Google Chrome is recommended to run the Virtual Conference platform. 

Can I watch the webcast sessions on my phone or tablet computer?

Yes, but the best attendee experience we highly suggest to use a laptop or desktop.

What hashtags should we use for the conference on social media?

SLS is active on social media. To stay connected with SLS, post using @SLS and #SLSVirtual on LinkedIn.

Schedule and Session Information

Where can I review the schedule?

You can explore the speakers, topics, and schedule before the conference here

During the conference, you’ll be able to view the agenda once you have logged into the Virtual Conference platform. You can add the agenda items to your personal agenda and calendar.

What happens if I have an issue with watching the sessions?

Please contact us within the platform in the “Chat” tab with the channel #TechSupport during the Virtual Conference or email info@semanticlayersummit.com.

How can I switch between sessions?

Switch tracks by selecting “Agenda” from the main toolbar and selecting a new session to watch between both our main stage and tech stage.

Will the sessions be recorded and available on-demand?

All sessions will be available on-demand after the summit concludes at www.semanticlayersummit.com.

How do I network with other attendees during the conference?

SLS will offer a live Community Chat with different channels/hashtags to help you connect with other like-minded attendees. Find the hashtag channel in the “Chat” tab.

Registration and Logging into the Virtual Conference 

How will attendees access the Virtual Conference once they have registered for the summit?

Attendees will receive an email with login instructions (from: info@semanticlayersummit.com) a few days before the event. We encourage all attendees to log into the platform before the conference starts to make sure you can login. If you have trouble logging in, please email info@semanticlayersummit.com. 

You can begin logging into the conference at 10:00 AM ET on April 24th and the first keynote begins at 10:30 AM ET.

My email doesn’t work for live.SemanticLayerSummit.com. What should I do to get access?

Attendees will receive an email with login instructions a few days before the event from info@semanticlayersummit.com.  Please check the spam folder. 

We encourage all attendees to log into the platform before the conference starts to make sure they can log in.

What if I need help or guidance during the virtual conference?

Summit Expo FAQs 

How do I access the Virtual Expo?

You can easily access the expos from anywhere in the Virtual Conference by clicking on the “Expo Hall” button from the blue menu bar at the top or click here: https://live.semanticlayersummit.com/expo-hall

Please note that the Expo is only open on April 24th from 10 AM – 3:30 PM ET.

What can I expect from the Expo?

Visit booths to learn the latest solutions in data & analytics for the Enterprise from the most important players in the AI/BI space including AtScale, Cube.dev, Databricks, Intersystems, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Snowplow, and more!

Where can I find a schedule for the Tech Stage talks? 

Once you have logged into the Virtual Conference platform, you can explore the speakers, topics, and schedule before the conference here.

Code of Conduct

SLS is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any venue, including talks. Participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event at the discretion of the event organizers.
