Tableau Conference-ish Takeaways

It was great to be a part of the re-imagined Tableau Conference this year. This year, we joined the #datafam online. AtScale co-founder, Dave Mariani, just may have attended his first tech conference in PJs and AtScale social media pro, Kayla Chiara, brought her dog. Hey, it’s all good.

Unlike other years, when we flew out to Las Vegas, staffed a booth and attended sessions with 20,000 other data professionals, this year we attended the conference remotely. The good news? This year’s conference brought in more people from around the world. In fact, Tableau projected that 100,000 data fanatics would be attending the conference from over 195 countries.

While we can’t say that they were all at the AtScale virtual booth, we can say that we did see virtual attendees from around the world. The AtScale staff chatted with customers, partners and data pros who weren’t familiar with AtScale Adaptive Analytics over three days and we hope to continue the conversation going forward.
